James Dean Hill was born October 20, 1957, in Cordell to Jasper William and Marion Tommie (Miller) Hill and passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Integris Canadian Valley Hospital in Yukon, at the age of 64 years, 3 months and 22 days.

James was raised and attended school in the Fort Cobb area, graduating from Fort Cobb High School.  He enlisted in the U.S. Army and served for four years.  James returned to Fort Cobb working as a handyman and was a jack of all trades.  He ran an apartment complex, worked at Eakly Co-op during the peanut season, and did farm work in the Mt. View area.  James enjoyed fishing and hunting.

James is survived by one brother, Bruce Hill of Moore.  He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Dianna Zerbe and Dora Ricketts.
