Jake was born October 12, 1992, in Weatherford to Frank and Helen (Wiebe) Klassen and passed away Monday, April 26, 2021, in Thomas having reached the age of 28 years, 6 months and 14 days.

Jake was raised and attended school in Thomas, graduating from Thomas Fay Custer High School in 2011. Jake's dad, Frank, started him at the young age of 12 teaching him about vehicles. After graduation, he attended the Vo-Tech in Burns Flat and graduated with a degree in paint and body. Jake worked as a mechanic alongside his dad in the family garage. He later went to work in the oil field. On November 2, 2019, Jake married Rylan Giager in Greenfield and made their home in Thomas. He worked for Raw Crude as a pumper. Jake enjoyed cooking, camping, yard work, and spending time with family and friends.

Jake is survived by his mother, Helen Klassen of Meade, Kansas; his father, Frank Klassen of Thomas; his wife, Rylan Klassen of their home in Thomas; two sons, Rhiett and Rhyder Klassen; one daughter, Kynleigh Klassen of the home in Thomas; and two sisters, Anna Peters and husband, Frank of Cimarron, Kansas and their children, Nathan, Natalie and Gabriel Peters and Lisa Klassen of Dodge City, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his brother, Peter; grandparents, Johan and Anna Klassen; grandpa, Jake Wiebe; and uncle, Abe Wiebe.
