Funeral services for Hulene Butler, 83 year-old Weatherford, Oklahoma resident, will be held Friday, December 21, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at Emmanuel Baptist Church with David Lawrence officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Hulene was born December 15, 1929 in Bivins, Texas to Hugh Blair and Linnie Belle (McCain) Roberson and passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at Corn Heritage of Weatherford. Hulene was raised and attended school in Atlanta, Texas. On August 14, 1948, she married Clyde Butler in Atlanta, Texas and made their home in Texas and Oklahoma. They owned and operated Marlow Florist and Nursery from 1954 to 1958. Hulene and Clyde settled in Weatherford, Oklahoma in 1969. In 1977, they started H & C Services which is still run by the family. Hulene enjoyed being with her family and grandchildren; working in her flower gardens; her church activities; cooking; and reading. Memorials may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Hulene is survived by one son, Dale Butler and wife, Sandy of Weatherford, Oklahoma; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and two sisters, Virginia and Geneva.
