Funeral services for Hugh Gilbert Taylor III, 58 year old Weatherford, Oklahoma resident, will be held Wednesday, February 19, 2014, 2:00 P.M. at Huber Street Missionary Baptist Church with Matt Wyatt officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Hugh was born July 15, 1955 in Perryton, Texas to Hugh Gilbert Taylor, Jr. and Alla (Barfield) Taylor and passed away February 15, 2014 at his home in Weatherford, Oklahoma. Hugh was raised in Pershing, Oklahoma and attended school in Barnsdall, Oklahoma where he graduated from Barnsdall High School in 1972. He earned a Bachelors Degree from Southwestern State College in Weatherford, Oklahoma. On May 24, 1978, Hugh married Gayla Klaassen in Weatherford, Oklahoma. He worked at Imation in the Production Quality Control Department from 1988 to 2008. Hugh was called into the ministry and was attending Concord Baptist Institute in Norman, Oklahoma at the time of his death. He enjoyed his activities in the church and computers. Memorials may be made to the Weatherford Missionary Baptist Church.

Hugh is survived by his mother, Alla Taylor of Maple Valley, Washington; his wife, Gayla Taylor of Elk City, Oklahoma; two sons, Michael Daniel Taylor of Weatherford, Oklahoma and Travis Eugene Taylor of Wayne, Oklahoma; one sister, Sheryl Freeman and husband, Trent of Maple Valley, Washington. He was preceded in death by his father.
