Obituary

Hollis Lee was born July 7, 1956 in Clinton, Oklahoma to Delbert Wills and Estherline Lee and passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018 at the Cornerstone Hospital in Shawnee, Oklahoma, at the age of 61 years, 8 months,  and 24 days.

Hollis was raised and attended school in the Weatherford area and graduated from Corn Bible Academy in 1974. Hollis attended Haskell Indian Nations University and met his wife, Pearl Longee. He married Pearl Longee and they made their home in Weatherford. Hollis worked at BOP Ram over 30 years. He enjoyed going to the snake hunt in Waynoka, Oklahoma for several years. Hollis also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, working, watching movies, his animals, going to the lake, and was an avid OU fan. He was a very good track runner and ran a marathon from Weatherford to Clinton. Memorials may be made to the Indian Baptist Church in Weatherford.

Hollis is survived by his wife, Pearl of their home in Clinton, Oklahoma; daughter, Michele Lee Cruz and husband, Telesforo Cruz and three grandchildren, Odyssey, Harmoney, and Sky Cruz of Clinton, Oklahoma; one brother, Jessie Flyingout of Weatherford, Oklahoma; and three sisters, Euline Lee and Larry Sharp of Weatherford, Oklahoma, Debra Davis and husband, Kelly of Konawa, Oklahoma, and Marsha Wills and Dean Smallin of Weatherford, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents; his foster parents, Betty and Elmer Quiring; and one brother, Dwayne.
