Heather Dawn Park, 45 year-old of Thomas passed way Saturday, April 20, 2019 at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Heather was born on November 15, 1973 in Clinton, Oklahoma to Haze and Minnie (Hicks) Park. Heather was raised and attended school in Thomas, graduating from Thomas High School in 1992. She attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Heather married Kendall Dowty July 23, 1993. They made their home in Yukon, Oklahoma. They later separated.

Heather loved her children and enjoyed attending their many activities. She also enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, living in the country and spending time with family and friends. Heather's heart was as beautiful as her smile. She could brighten a room as soon as she enter the doorway.

Heather is survived by her children, Alex Dowty and (Courtney Koehn) of Topeka, Kansas; Lauren and Katelyn Dowty of Thomas, Alivia and Bryanna Benevento of Thomas; brothers, Byron Grubb (Ava) of Lawton, Oklahoma, Jamie Woodfin (Kelly) of Tulsa, Chris Park of Clinton, Oklahoma. Heather is preceded in death by her parents; a sister and brother.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2018 in the Thomas Fay Custer High School Auditorium. Burial will follow in the Mound Valley Cemetery. Lockstone Funeral Home is in Charge of the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to The First Bank of Thomas and the Southwest Bank of Custer City, or the Brethren in Christ Church.
