Funeral services for Hattie Jean Blakley, 69 year-old Gotebo, Oklahoma resident, will be held Saturday, August 29, 2015, 10:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church in Gotebo with Chris Kilpatrick officiating. Burial will follow in Gotebo Cemetery under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Hattie was born October 27, 1945, in Porum, Oklahoma to Raymond and Irene (Poor) Thurman and passed away Thursday, August 27, 2015, at Maple Lawn Manor in Hydro, Oklahoma. Hattie was raised and attended school in the Eakly and Lookeba-Sickles areas and graduated from Lookeba-Sickles High School in 1964. On December 9, 1968, she married Perry Blakley and they made their home in Eakly, Oklahoma. Hattie worked as a cook at Mountain View Senior Citizen Center where she was currently working. They lived in Eakly, Hinton and settled in Gotebo. Hattie enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Dr. Pepper, her dog, Maggie, and going places with her sister. Memorials may be made to the Mountain View Senior Citizen Center.

Hattie is survived by her daughter, Deana Black and husband, Scott of Hydro, Oklahoma; her son, Dean Blakley and wife, Sarah of Tribune, Kansas; her three brothers, Marshal Thurman and wife, Pat of Elgin, Oklahoma, Marvin Thurman and wife, Molly of Yukon, Oklahoma, and Rick Thurman and wife, Robin of Gotebo, Oklahoma; her sister, Pam LaFever and husband, Ron of Gotebo, Oklahoma; and her sister-in-law, Mary Dowty and husband, Gary of Eakly, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Dakota Osmond, Jakayla McDonald, Michaela Blakley, Dason Osmond, Tyler Blakley, and Carson Black; and four great-grandchildren, Mylee and Kimberlynn Osmond and Baylor and Collin McDonald. She was preceded in death by her husband, Perry and her parents, Raymond and Irene.
