Funeral services for Harry Floyd Leppke, 83 year-old Corn, Oklahoma resident, will be held Wednesday, February 18, 2015, 10:00 A.M. at Corn Mennonite Brethren Church with Tim Sandy and Ken Gardner officiating. Burial will follow in Corn Mennonite Brethren Cemetery under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Harry Floyd Leppke was born January 11, 1932 in Corn, Oklahoma to Ezra and Selma (Flaming) Leppke and passed away Sunday, February 15, 2015 at Weatherford Regional Hospital.

Harry was raised on a farm southeast of Corn and when he began attending Pleasant Views one room schoolhouse he only spoke German. He finished school at Corn Bible Academy and graduated in 1950. After high school, he served in the alternative service during the war and helped his dad farm. He also did carpentry work over the years and started his own metal building business. He married Ida Belle Kirkpatrick on May 23, 1958 in Enid, Oklahoma, and they made their home southeast of Corn. As a young man Harry owned his own airplane and was a licensed airplane pilot. After living in the country for eight years he built his family a home in the town of Corn where they raised three sons. He retired in 2008 and in 2013 he moved to Corn Heritage Village. Harry & Ida took many fun, family vacations over the years and he always enjoyed his coffee shop time with friends.

He is survived by three sons: Larry and his wife Alayna of Corn, Oklahoma; Marvin and his wife Treva of Moore, Oklahoma and Richard of Mustang, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren: Daniel Leppke, Brandon Leppke, Charity Arnwine, Courtney Leppke and Nicholas, Juliana and Morgan Jayne Leppke. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Ida. Memorials may be made to Corn Bible Academy and the Corn Mennonite Brethren Church.
