Funeral services for Harry LeRoy Crissman, 90 year-old Weatherford, Oklahoma resident, will be held Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. in the First Baptist Church with Pastor Earl Stephenson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

LeRoy was born March 15, 1922 in Colony, Oklahoma to Harry Virgil and Ida (Klein) Crissman and passed away Thursday, January 10, 2013 in Corn Heritage Village in Corn, Oklahoma. LeRoy was raised and attended Prairie View School east of Colony and graduated from Colony High School in 1940. On January 19, 1942, he married Maxine Cartwright in Hydro, Oklahoma and made their home in Colony. He enlisted in the Air Force and served during World War II from 1943 to 1945. He returned to Colony to farm and ranch until retiring in 1977. LeRoy enjoyed hunting, fishing, and motorcycles. During their retirement the couple traveled throughout the United States and spent the winter months in south Texas. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Weatherford or to a charity of your choice.

LeRoy is survived by his wife of 70 years, Maxine Crissman of their home in Weatherford, Oklahoma; one daughter, Ann Adams and husband, Wayland of Clinton, Oklahoma; one brother, Leland Crissman and wife, Mary Lee of Duncan, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Bryan Adams and wife, Judith of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Greg Adams and wife, Lori of Clinton, Oklahoma, and Deidre Hunt and husband, Michael of Weatherford, Oklahoma; and seven great-grandchildren, Jacey Smallwood and husband, Shawn, Britton Adams, Conley Adams, Colten Adams, Allison Eakins, Dylan Hunt, and Riley Hunt. He was preceded in death by his parents.
