Memorial: 2:00 PM Friday, March 15th, 2013"The Chapel" of Lockstone Funeral Home

A Celebration of Life service for Harold Gene Blough, 81 year-old Weatherford, Oklahoma resident, will be held on Friday, March 15, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. in The Chapel of Lockstone Funeral Home with Greg Zoschak officiating, under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Harold was born February 8, 1932 in Weatherford, Oklahoma to Vernon and Martha (Forrester) Blough and passed away Sunday, March 10, 2013 in Weatherford, Oklahoma. Harold was raised and attended school in Weatherford and graduated from Weatherford High School in 1950. He enlisted in the National Guard serving in Korea. On December 21, 1950, Harold married Bobbie Johnson in Weatherford, Oklahoma and made their home in Tulsa where he attended Spartan School of Aeronautics. They returned to Weatherford in 1959 and he worked with his father-in-law, Louie Johnson until 1964. Harold later worked for John Deere and in 1968 went to work for 3-M before he retired in 1993. Harold enjoyed fishing, woodworking, writing stories about life, facebook, and telling everyone about Jesus. Harold is survived by his wife of 62 years, Bobbie Blough of their home in Weatherford, Oklahoma; two sons, Louie Blough and wife, Jean of Garber, Oklahoma and Mike Blough and wife, Robin of Lindsay, Oklahoma; one daughter, Terry Unruh and husband, Aaron of Weatherford, Oklahoma; one sister, Betty Brown and husband, Ed of Midwest City, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Corey Blough and wife, Crystal of Garber, Oklahoma, Sarah Unruh of Weatherford, Oklahoma, Katy Lubbers and husband, Cody of Clinton, Oklahoma, Kylie Blough of Lindsay, Oklahoma, and Shawn Blough of Lindsay, Oklahoma; and one great-grandson, Cayden Bloyd. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Earl, Vernon, and Ray Blough, and Joe McIntyre; and one sister, Lorene McPhearson.
