Harold Dean Bell was born to Harold William and Georgia Ray (Cook) Bell on November 21, 1928, in Putnam, OK and passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2016, at Clinton Alliance Hospital in Clinton, OK having reached the age of 87 years, 8 months 22 days.

Dean was raised in the Independence area where he attended school, graduating in 1946. Dean entered in the United State Army where he served during the Korean War from March 30, 1954 to March 29, 1956. He married Ruby Lee Londagin on October 26, 1963, in Custer County, OK. Dean served on the Custer School Board from 1975 to 1990. He drove the Thomas school bus for 15 years. Dean attended the Thomas Assembly of God Church in Thomas. Dean enjoyed farming, he worked and lived on the same farm, 6 miles west of Thomas, for 80 years. He also loved spending time with family and seeing all of his grandchildren. He enjoyed listening to Willies Roadhouse when he could no longer farm.

Dean is survived by his wife, Ruby of the home; one son, Roger Dean Bell of Thomas, OK; three daughters, DeAnn Packwood of Billing, MO, Nancy LaBrue of Cambridge, KS, and Robin Bell Hall of Stillwater, OK; sixteen grandchildren, Benjamin Packwood, Andrew Packwood, Tabitha Packwood, Austin LaBrue, Keith LaBrue, Craig LaBrue, William Bell, Kyle Jeffers, Kasey Jeffers, Jessica Bell, Brittany Bell, Kaira Bell, Aryss Bell, Ryan Ingram, Brett Hall and Gabrielle Hall; two great-grandchildren, Addison Packwood and Ruger Ingram. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Georgia Bell; one son, Ronald Dean Bell.
