Funeral services for Darrell Hill, 80 year-old Weatherford, Oklahoma resident, will be held Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. in the Life Fellowship Church in Weatherford, Oklahoma with Nate Hicks officiating. Services will be under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Darrell was born July 17, 1934 in Kaw, Oklahoma to Roy and Lucy (Elwood) Hill and passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2014 at the Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Darrell was raised in the Claremore, Oklahoma area and also in the Southern California area. He served in the army. He married Margie Underwood on August 29, 1964 in Los Vegas, Nevada and they made their home in Sylmar, California. Darrell had enjoyed rodeoing. He had a band that played country and western music and was known as Darrell Hill and the Moon Lighters. Darrell and Margie moved to Weatherford, Oklahoma in 1978. He did construction work, worked on bridges, and owned Sooner Roofing Company. He owned and operated several bars in the Weatherford area and was still active until 2012. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, the outdoors, working on his property, and his chicken farm. Memorials may be made to the Life Fellowship Church in Weatherford, Oklahoma.

Darrell is survived by his wife Margie of the home, two sons; Rick Hill and wife Tracy Lusk, Clay Hill and his wife Amanda all of Weatherford, Oklahoma, one step-son; Scott Largent of Pennsylvania, one step-daughter; Melody Largent of Weatherford, Oklahoma; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, two brothers; Lloyd Hill of Weatherford, Oklahoma and Roy Lee Hill of Sacramento, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son; Larry, one brother; Robert, three sisters; Phyllis, Stella, and Hellen
