Geraldine Irene Jackson was born November 1, 1925, in California to Arthur and Ethel (Patterson) Rhoads and passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at Corn Heritage Village in Corn, Oklahoma, at the age of 92 years, 2 months, and 23 days.

Geraldine was raised and attended school in Colony, Oklahoma. She married and they raised their family in the Colony area. Geraldine later married Oscar Jackson and they moved to Locust Grove, Oklahoma from 1973 to 2011. Oscar passed away and she moved back to the Colony area to be near her children. Geraldine enjoyed spending time with family and friends, traveling, gardening and yard work, working, and cooking for her family. She will be remembered as being active in her church and loved going to church.

Geraldine is survived by two sons, Marvin Brooks and wife, Judy of Colony, Oklahoma and Mark Brooks and wife, Shana of Lookeba, Oklahoma; one daughter, Donna Veal and husband, Huston of Eakly, Oklahoma; one brother, Ray Rhoads and wife, Kay of Weatherford, Oklahoma; one sister, Norene Dunn of Del City, Oklahoma; ten grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Oscar; two brothers, Glen and Wetzel Rhoads; and one son, Charles Brooks.
