Gerald Dale
Hintchel
December 17, 2015
Gerald Dale Hintchel was born on May 12, 1927 in Niles, Oklahoma, the youngest of five brothers and sisters. He was born to Julius and Pauline Hintchel and grew up in Hinton, Oklahoma. He was baptized at the St. John Lutheran Church on May 29, 1927 and confirmed on November 10, 1940.
He met and married his wife Billye on January 19, 1956 in Fort Worth, Texas. They had two children together, Jill and Jerry Hintchel. After traveling for a few years, they moved back to Hinton with their children and built a gas station and grocery store that they ran for many years. After retiring, Gerald started what he is most known for; raising and selling miniature horses for over 25 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing as a past time and working as a gun smith. Gerald also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and always making a good deal on a sale or trade. Gerald ended his time here on Earth on December 17, 2015. He was surrounded by his family and their love as he passed on to Gods eternal love in Heaven.
Gerald is survived by his wife, Billye; two daughters, Sandra Parks and husband, Don of Utah, and Jill Bottom and husband, Rick of Altus, Oklahoma; one son, Jerry Hintchel and wife, Julie of Hinton, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Brooke Snowdan and husband, Paul, Joey Snodgrass, Megan Ferrell and husband, Phillip, Morgan Hintchel, and Mason Hintchel; and three great-grandchildren, Alexa and Bailey Snowdan, and Avery Ferrell. He was preceded in death by his parents, Julius and Pauline Hintchel; two sisters, Anna Lindaman and Leonna Wise; two brothers, Orvall Hintchel and Lambert Hintchel; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
