Genevia Christine Koch was born March 23, 1941, in Mangum, Oklahoma to Hugh Dennies and Genevia Fay (Bennett) Crawford and passed peacefully at home in Weatherford on Thursday, March 8, 2018, at the age of 76 years, 11 months, and 15 days.

Genevia was raised and attended school in rural Greer County and graduated from Centralve Rural High School in 1959. She earned her Bachelor and Master's Degree from Southwestern State College. On June 2, 1962, Genevia married Mervine Joseph Koch in Weatherford where they made their home. They moved to Stratford, Texas and later returned to Weatherford. Genevia taught school in Stratford, Texas, Corn Bible Academy and then Weatherford High School. Genevia enjoyed traveling, catering, quilting, sewing, canning and spending time with family and friends. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.

Genevia is survived by one son, Michael Koch of Luther, Oklahoma; one daughter, Christina Felder and husband, Mark of Edmond, Oklahoma; two sisters, Janetta Kennedy of Ripley, Oklahoma and Gennie Goodman of Dallas, Oregon; and one grandson, Jacob Koch. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three brothers, Hugh, Bob and Gerald Crawford; and one sister, Joyce McMinn.
