Olive Gaylene (Bloom) Perry, 83, passed away peacefully Sunday evening, July 19th, 2026, due to health complications at INTEGRIS Health Center in Yukon, OK.

Gaylene was born on September 10, 1942, in Weatherford. She devoted her life to her family and community.

Raised in Weatherford, she graduated from Weatherford High School in 1960 and married her high school sweetheart, Elton, in 1961. Together they raised two wonderful boys, Terral and Todd. She enjoyed her work with interior and floral design both in Weatherford and as they moved around with Elton's job from Pittsford, NY; Saline, MI; Woodbury, MN; Round Rock, TX; and finally retiring back in Weatherford.

Gaylene was known for her warm heart, unwavering faith, and kind soul. She loved cheering on her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren in their sports and activities, cooking and baking, and her dog Beckett. She enjoyed spending her time being active at the Federated Church, Meals on Wheels and, the local chapter of the P.E.O. Sisterhood (Philanthropic Educational Organization).

Gaylene is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Christeen Bloom; her parents-in-law, Earl and Ruby Perry, husband, Elton; brother, Gerald; and son, Terral. She is survived by her son, Todd and his wife Laura of Carmel, IN; grandchildren, Karessa and husband Johnny Wallace of Weatherford, Lyndon Perry of Weatherford, Lizzie Perry of Nashville, TN, and Chris Perry of Sheridan, IN; great granddaughters, Kacidie, Kaylie, and Charleigh Wallace as well as Marlow Perry, all of Weatherford.

She will be dearly missed by those whose hearts she touched.
