Gary Lee Howard was born to Raymond and Gladys Howard on June 10, 1949 in Thomas, OK and passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 in Oklahoma City, OK having reached the age of 69 years and 9 days.

Gary, a lifelong resident of Thomas, devoted his life on the farm his parents built in the late 1940s. As an adolescent, his love for farming and ranching earned him several awards and recognitions through Future Farmers of America, including Oklahoma State Farmer and American Farmer. After graduating Thomas High School, Gary devoted his life on his farm, ranching, farming and raising cattle, continuing his family's tradition until the time of his death.

Gary enjoyed spending time with his family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved his "daily coffee time" with friends, fellowship at church, dancing and embracing life. Gary's passion was music and playing his guitar. He took special pride in being part of the movie, "How The West Was Won," a Holywood Production, dedicated to producing uplifting entertainment promoting Christian values.

Gary married Mary Charlene Lipscomb and raised three children. Later, he was married to Susan Godwin.

He is survived by two daughters, Cindy Yeager and her husband, David of Thomas, OK; Tammy Crites and her husband, Justin of Westville, OK; one son, Roscoe Lipscomb of Thomas, OK; four grandchildren, Nichole Weaver and her husband, Kevin of Thomas, OK; D.J. Yeager and Shayla Yeager of Thomas, OK; and Taylor Lovell and her husband, Ricky of Muldrow, OK; five great-grandchildren, Serenity and Chevy Weaver of Thomas, OK; Corbin and Sydney Weaver of Clinton, OK; and Tildyn Lovell of Muldrow, OK. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Gladys Howard; two grandchildren, Lance Howard and Hannah Moreland.
