Memorial services for Frankie Glee Svitak, 66 year-old Weatherford, Oklahoma resident, will be held Friday, October 13, 2017, 2:00 P.M. at Southwestern Christian Church with Doyle Warren officiating.

Frankie was born June 23, 1951, in Anadarko, Oklahoma to Frank and Maxine (Austin) Svitak and passed away Monday, October 9, 2017, at the Weatherford Living Center. Frankie was raised and attended school in Hydro, Oklahoma, graduating from Hydro High School in 1969. He attended Southwestern State College for 2 years after being drafted. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. On August 1, 1975, Frankie married Patricia Blackburn in Hydro. He owned and operated Southwest Tire and Accessories from 1981 to 2008. After, Frankie was assistant manager for Greene's Energy Group until retiring in 2014. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing poker and spending time with family and friends.

Frank is survived by his wife of 42 years, Patricia of their home in Weatherford, Oklahoma; one son, Frankie Svitak and wife, Dru of Watonga, Oklahoma; one daughter, Brandy Townsend and husband, T.J. of Camp Verde, Arizona; one brother, Ronnie Austin and wife, Lisa of Norman, Oklahoma; three sisters, Lona Kay Morelock and husband, Buck of Hinton, Oklahoma, Donna Sue Hatcher and husband, Rudy of Yukon, Oklahoma, and Dena Goossen and husband, Phil of Hydro, Oklahoma; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
