Funeral services for Faye Ritchison, 93 year-old Eakly, Oklahoma resident, will be held Friday, June 20, 2014, at 10:00 A.M. in the United Methodist Church in Eakly, Oklahoma with Kay Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Poage Cemetery, northwest of Eakly, Oklahoma, under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Faye was born March 14, 1921, in Tom, Oklahoma to William and Lucille (Adams) Derryberry and passed away Monday, June 16, 2014 at Maple Lawn Manor in Hydro, Oklahoma. Faye was raised and attended school in Leveland, Texas and later moved to Mountain View, Oklahoma. On January 10, 1943, she married Vernon Ritchison in Eakly. They made their home north of Eakly on a farm where they raised their family. They moved to the Hydro area in 1991. Faye enjoyed crocheting, cooking, spending time with her grandchildren and family.

Faye is survived by one son, Jerry Ritchison and wife, Cindy of Colony, Oklahoma; one daughter, Judy Shavor of Ft. Cobb, Oklahoma; one brother, Herb Derryberry and wife, Nancy of Logansport, Indiana; two grandchildren, Kevin Shavor of Yukon, Oklahoma and Catherine Bryant and husband, Tommy of Weatherford, Oklahoma; and two great-granddaughters, Lynlee and Tymber Bryant of Weatherford, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; eight brothers, Dwyn, Winifred, Neil Wayne, Bill, Lloyd, Fred, Joe, and Monroe; and one sister, Louise.
