Faye Odessa Mounts was born February 21, 1917, near Binger to William Burton and Anna Laura (Meyers) Phillips and passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2022, in Thomas, at the age of 105 years, 1 month and 29 days.

Faye was raised west of Binger on the family farm and attended Willow Creek Rural School.  She worked on the family farm and Cherry Dale store.  On December 31, 1939, Faye married Charlie Marion Mounts in Clinton.  They made their home in the Sickles area where she worked alongside her husband on the family farm.  They moved to Weatherford in 1971.  Faye enjoyed sewing, gardening, frying chicken, her church activities and spending time with family and friends.

Faye is survived by her daughter, Joan Edge and husband, James of Oklahoma City; her daughter-in-law, Donita Bryan and husband, Kendall of Weatherford; her brother, Elmer Phillips and wife, Sue of El Reno; her sister, Ellen Johnson of Bismarck, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, Michael Edge and wife, Tracie; Michelle Alexander and husband, Eric; Duston Mounts and wife, Tina; Ryan Mounts and wife, Haley; Jonathan Mounts; Lisa Harrison and husband, Paul; Jeff Bryan and wife, Amy; and fourteen great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers, Earl and Oliver; and two sons, C.B. and Dennie.
