Obituary

Funeral: 10:00 AM Friday, April 24th, 2015Zion Amish Mennonite Church

Funeral services for Fannie B. (Yoder) Mast, 104 year-old Weatherford, Oklahoma resident, will be held Friday, April 24, 2015, 10:00 A.M. at Zion Amish Mennonite Church with LeRoy Peachy officiating. Burial will follow in Zion Cemetery under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Zion Amish Mennonite Church.

Fannie was born November 5, 1910, in Thomas, Oklahoma to Benedict T. and Magdalena (Weirich) Yoder and passed away Monday, April 20, 2015, in Corn Heritage Village of Weatherford. Fannie was raised southeast of Thomas, Oklahoma and attended Jefferson Rural School. On September 23, 1943, she married John B. Mast and they made their home north of Weatherford, Oklahoma. Fannie worked alongside with her husband on the farm. They attended Zion Amish Mennonite Church. Fannie enjoyed working outside, cooking, and being with her family.

Fannie is survived by her son, Perry Mast and wife, Mary of Weatherford, Oklahoma; daughter, Barbara Lambright and husband, LeRoy of Goshen, Indiana; son-in-law, Floyd Miller and wife, Joyce of Dublin, Ohio; brother, Tobias Yoder and wife, Katie of Topeka, Indiana; eleven grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; four sisters, Melinda, Edna, Clara and Bertha; twin sons, Melvin and Alvin; two daughters, Mary Ann and Florence; daughter-in-law, Margie (Billington) Mast; and two grandchildren, Timothy Mast and Lareeta Mast.
