Esther Irene (was born May 6, 1933, in Cold Water, KS to Herman and Martha Elizabeth (Bauer) Zielke and passed away Saturday, July 5, 2025, at Weatherford Regional Hospital.

In 1936, she and her family moved to Corn, OK.  Esther attended schools in Corn and lived there to adulthood.  In 1951, she moved to Sidney, NE, where she worked for Sioux Army Depot for four years.  In 1957, she moved to Wichita, KS where she met and married Harold Taylor on September 8, 1958.  She worked at the Zelinhoff Compay while in Wichita.  In 1963, they moved to Cheyenne, OK and then to El Reno, working at HMC Company and the rest home.  In 1978, they moved to Weatherford where Esther cleaned doctor's offices and worked at Southwestern Oklahoma State University as a custodian until her retirement in 1999.  She was a faithful member of the Weatherford Church of Christ and worked for years at the Agape Medical Clinic and Clothing Room.

Esther was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers Vicor Zielke and wife Lois, Adrian Zielke and wife Charlotte, Riley Zielke and wife Jean and Ernest Zielke; five sisters Winifred Wagner and husband Claude, Bertha Cornish and husband John, Donna Teigland and husband Glen, Erma Ziekle, and Gertrude Weaver and husband Stanley; sister-in-law Vera Zielke; and brother-in-law Charles Anderson.

Esther is survived by three sons Marland Taylor and wife Jolene, Stephen Taylor and wife Sara, and Daniel Taylor and wife Jan; one sister Elva Anderson; two brothers Virgil Zielke and wife Joy and Forrest Zielke; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
