Esther was born December 19, 1926, in Lookeba, Oklahoma to two loving and devoted Christian parents, Nettie and Arvin Willis and went home to be with her Lord on Friday, June 16, 2020 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma having reached the age of 93 years, 5 moths and 27 days.

Esther completed 12 years of school in Hydro, Oklahoma and went on to attend college at Southwestern State College in Weatherford, Oklahoma. She married Robert Edward Stallings on December 6, 1950. A daughter was born to them, Pamela Jo in 1951.

Esther entered into a personal relationship with Christ at the age of 12. During her adult years she served as an administrative assistant in the public-school offices as well as being a substitute teacher. She later worked in the Cleveland County Courthouse in Norman, Oklahoma as a deputy clerk until her retirement.

Esther and her husband, Bob, were active members of Baptist churches in Waynoka, Noble, and Norman, Oklahoma where they lived. After Bob suffered a stroke in his early sixties, they continued to be faithful in church. Esther helped with church dinners, Vacation Bible School and bereavement dinners. Upon Bob's death Esther moved to Baptist Village of Oklahoma City where she attended Highland Hills Baptist Church. She later moved to Weatherford where she was a member of the First Baptist Church where she attended Sunday school from 2004 until 2011. In the fall of 2011, she joined her daughter's family in Tahlequah where she lived at Go Ye Village Retirement Community for nine years until her death.

Esther enjoyed reading and collecting cookbooks and loved time spent with family. She is survived by her daughter, Pam (Tony) Ward, one granddaughter, Natalie Ward, sisters in law Esma (Jim) Downs, Kathy (John) Oty, brother in law, Harry (Doris) Stallings , nephews, Jim Stallings, Tom (Debbie) Willis, Robert (Helene) Smith, Tom (Georgia) Smith , Billie (Debbie) Downs and Monte (Robin) Downs, nieces, Deborah Fewell, Barbara (Wesley) Alderette and Karla (John) McArthur, and cousins, Edith Entz, Gayle(Danny) Hudler, and Helen Wesnidge.

Esther is preceded in death by her parents, Arvin and Nettie Willis, her husband, Bob, two brothers, Russell and Elmer Willis, a sister in law, Edna Willis a granddaughter and a grandson, Kristin and Jeff Ward.
