Funeral services for Ernestine (Woodruff) Reichert Vanderhoff, 82 year-old Weatherford, Oklahoma resident, will be held Friday, July 13, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. in the First Baptist Church with Pastor Earl Stephenson officiating. Burial will follow at 2:30 P.M. in Highland Cemetery in Lawton, Oklahoma, under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Ernestine was born October 27, 1929 in Selma, Alabama to George Nathaniel and Neicie Viola (McCoy) Woodruff and passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Corn Heritage Village in Corn, Oklahoma. Ernestine was raised and attended school in Geary, Oklahoma, and graduated from Geary High School in 1948. She then went on and earned her Registered Nurse degree from Mercy Hospital in 1952. On February 14, 1952, Ernestine married Carl Reichert. To this union they had five children, Carla Jo, Ernest Wade, Kelly Mark, Steven Brent, and Stanley Kent. Carl passed away on June 1, 1974. Ernestine worked in nursing in Lawton and Tennessee for doctors and in the hospitals. She married Kenneth Vanderhoff in March 17, 1977. Ken passed away on May 25, 1981. Ernestine worked at Weatherford Living Center for 10 years before retiring in April 2011. Ernestine enjoyed her church activities and traveling. Her travels took her to Switzerland, Italy, England, Germany, France, Austria, Mexico, Puerto Rick, Hawaii, Europe, and the Caribbean0 Islands. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church.

Ernestine is survived by three sons, Ernest Reichert and wife, Linda of Weatherford, Oklahoma, Kelly Reichert and wife, Brenda of Fredrick, Oklahoma, and Steven Reichert and wife, Karen of Washington, Oklahoma; one daughter, Carla Porter of Smyrna, Tennessee; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; three brothers, George, Spurgeon, and Ernest; two sisters, Juanita and Frances; and one son, Stanley.
