Elton Homer Hicks, loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, was born on August 2, 1930 to Homer and Robbie (Bullard) Hicks and passed away on Friday, June 26, 2020 in Weatherford, Oklahoma at the age of 89 years, 10 months, and 24 days.

Elton married Ivon Ethyl Rogers on November 19, 1949 in Cooke County, Texas and together they had the blessings of 2 sons, 4 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.

Elton is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ivon Ethyl Hicks; three brothers, Paul, Pete, and Butch; and two sisters, Vivian and Patsy.

Elton is survived by two sons, Ronnie Hicks and his wife Miriam of Weatherford, Lonny Hicks and wife Dana of Tulsa; three brothers, Thomas Hicks, of Weatherford, Robert and Melvinna Hicks of Moore, and Phillip and Glenda Hicks of Moore; two sisters, Aileen Martin of Weatherford and Melba Atkinson of Byars; four grandchildren, Brady Hicks, Chelsey Pitts and husband Rowdy Jake, Jacoby Hicks and wife Amira, and Tyler Hicks; and two great-grandchildren, Jax Wayne Pitts and Jagger Jake Pitts.
