Dwight Edwin Gaston was born September 13, 1968 in Mooreland, Oklahoma to Dwight Eugene and Glennda (Hollan) Gaston and passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018, at his home in Edmond, at the age of 49 years, 5 months, and 14 days.

Dwight was raised and attended school in Woodward, Oklahoma until 1982 when the family moved to Weatherford. Dwight graduated from Weatherford High School in 1986. He attended college in Edmond and later in Galveston and received his Master degree from East Central. Dwight worked in Mayesville, Oklahoma and later started Advance Counseling in 1998 in Edmond. Dwight enjoyed snow skiing, playing and watching football, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church.

Dwight is survived by his mother, Glennda Tannehill and husband, Phillip of Weatherford, Oklahoma; father, Dwight Gaston of Woodward, Oklahoma; one son, Evan Gaston of Edmond, Oklahoma; one daughter, Becky Jantz and husband, Kelsey of Chickasha, Oklahoma; two brothers, Ken Gaston of Yukon, Oklahoma and Mark Tannehill and wife, Emily of Savannah, Georgia; one sister, Misty Collins and husband, Butch of Wynnewood, Oklahoma; three grandchildren; grandmother, Joy Tannehill of Sulphur, Oklahoma; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and to many friends to count. He was preceded in death by a sister, Janna Sexton.
