Funeral services for Douglas Eugene Madden, 69 year-old Weatherford, Oklahoma resident, will be held Monday, February 25, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. in The Chapel of Lockstone Funeral Home with Bruce Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Red Top Cemetery under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Doug was born March 30, 1943 in Los Angeles, California to Eugene V. and Eulalee Catherine (Teasley) Madden and passed away Thursday, February 21, 2013 at home in Weatherford surrounded by his family. Doug was raised and attended school in Weatherford and graduated from Weatherford High School in 1961. He started college and enlisted in the National Guard and then returned to college. On May 1, 1964, Doug married Ann Turner in Weatherford. They made their home in the Tulsa area for 10 years while he worked in construction. They later moved to Phoenix, Las Vegas, and Dallas before settling in Weatherford. Doug drove truck cross country with Ann for over 18 years. Doug enjoyed being with his family and grandchildren, going fishing, golfing, working on cars, and remodeling the house, cars, etc Memorials may be made to the Boys Scouts or to a charity of your choice.

Doug is survived by his wife of 48 years, Ann Madden of their home in Weatherford, Oklahoma; two sons, Desmond E. Madden of Weatherford, Oklahoma and Dason L. Madden of Denver, Colorado; two daughters, Vernoica Slagell and husband, Jeff of Hydro, Oklahoma and Chandra Clear and husband, Brad of Belleview, Nebraska; one brother, Larry S. Madden and wife, Carolyn of Thomas, Oklahoma; one sister, Pat Easter and husband, Tim of Weatherford, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren; his toy poodle, Lady; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Gary Damon Madden; and one daughter, Monica Diane Madden.
