Graveside services for Dortha Gee King, 83 year-old Weatherford, Oklahoma resident, will be held January 13, 2016 at Mt. Olive Cemetery with Dennis King officiating. Services are under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home of Weatherford.

Dortha was born March 1, 1932 in Hunt County, Texas to Oliver and Ola Lee (Newell) Winkle and passed away on January 10, 2016 at Weatherford Living Center in Weatherford, Oklahoma. Dortha was raised and attended schools in Ector, Texas. On December 25, 1947, Dortha married Bobby Sudderth in Bonham, Texas. They made their home and raised their family in Grand Prairie, Texas. In 1967, she moved to Weatherford, Oklahoma. Dortha met Charles King and they were later married on February 2, 1970 in Gainesville, Texas. In 1971, they moved to southern Oklahoma where they made their home. Dortha returned to Weatherford in 2001 after Charles passing to be near family. Dortha enjoyed tropical fish, reading books and later listening to books, and sewing.

Dortha is survived by two daughters, Sandra Little Bird and husband, Dutch of Weatherford, Oklahoma, and Debi Edwards and husband, Chris of Healdton, Oklahoma; one brother, O.L. Winkle and wife, Hazel of Fritch, Texas; one sister, Lee Landers and husband, Anthony of Duncanville, Texas; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Ola Winkle; two husbands, Bobby Sudderth and Charles King; two brothers, Alfred and Dee; four sisters, Lola Mae, Fay, Marry Edna, and Ruth; one daughter, Sherry; and two grandsons, Shannon and Brent.
