Dorothea Kliewer was born June 20, 1928, in Hillsboro, Kansas to David and Susie (Block) Kasper and passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2019, at Corn Heritage Village of Weatherford, at the age of 90 years, 10 months, and 4 days.

Dorothea was raised and attended school at Hillsboro grade school. After graduating 8th grade, she attended Tabor College Academy for four years of High school and completed one year at Tabor College.

On May 28, 1954, she married Dannie Kliewer in Hillsboro, Kansas and they made their home in Smithville, Ohio, where Dannie completed his 1-W service. They then moved to Corn, Oklahoma where they farmed for thirty plus years. They then retired and currently reside in Weatherford, Oklahoma.

Dorothea is survived by her husband of sixty-four years, Dannie Kliewer of their home in Weatherford; two sons, Terry Kliewer and wife, Nining of Las Vegas, Nevada and Ramon Kliewer and wife, Kris of Corn, Oklahoma; one daughter, Susan Shantz and husband Tim of Hydro, Oklahoma, one sister, Rosella Suderman of Hillsboro, Kansas; seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

Dorothea is preceded in death by her parents David & Susie Kasper, one brother Harold Kasper and one sister Esther Kliewer.
