Donna Leta Penner was born November 2, 1946, in Clinton, to Lee Crow and Gertie Gladys (Hill) Whilkins and passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at her home in Weatherford.

Donna was raised and attended school in Clinton.  On March 18, 1967, she married Garry Penner in Clinton and made their home in Weatherford.  They later moved to Oklahoma City where she worked in housekeeping for motels in the area.  Donna and Garry moved to California for 6 years and then settled back in Weatherford to raise their family.  They had two daughters, Connie and Donita, born 11 months apart.  Donna loved spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends.

Donna is survived by her husband, Garry Penner; daughter, Connie Minton; son-in-law, Harold Smith; grandchildren, Mitchell Miller, Crystall Smith, Nicholas Smith, Amber Minton and Ricky Minton; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Donita Smith; and grandson, Shawn Minton.
