Donna Marie Newman was born October 14, 1957, in San Diego, CA to Marty and Lilly Mae (Foster) Eckert and passed away Sunday, April 4, 2021, at home in Weatherford, at the age of 63 years, 5 months and 20 days.

Donna grew up in a military family, living in New York, Pennsylvania, California, and settling in Weatherford where she graduated with the Class of 1975.  She married and made their home in Okeene where she raised her family.  On February 5, 1999, she married Terry Newman in Arapaho and made their home in Weatherford.  Donna worked at the Weatherford Animal Hospital as a Veterinary technician for over 23 years. Donna enjoyed sewing, fishing, camping, taking pictures and spending time with grandchildren, family and friends.  She had a love for animals and had a green-thumb for gardening.

Donna is survived by her husband, Terry Newman of their home in Weatherford; one son, Cory Hill of Oklahoma City; one daughter, Audrey Wilson of Weatherford; two step-children, Jeremy Dentler and Amanda Villareal both of Holdenville; one sister, Deborah Schroeder of Hitchcock; eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Michael.
