Donise was born on February 12, 1956 to Don and Teddy (Freuschting) McMillon in Dothan, Alabama and passed away on Friday, September 15, 2017 at her home in Weatherford, Oklahoma. Donise lived and attended school in many places while growing up due to her father being in the Army. She graduated from high school in Nuremberg, Germany in 1974 and then moved to Weatherford to attend cosmetology school. On March 18, 1985, Donise married James Woods in High Hill, Oklahoma. They made her home and raised their family in Weatherford. Donise completed nursing school in 1992. She worked at many nursing homes in the area before retiring in 2012. Donise enjoyed taking pictures, family vacations, Colorado, Corpus Christi, music, going to concerts, friends and family, and rock and roll (especially Bon Jovi).

Donise is survived by her husband, James Woods of the home; father, Don McMillon of Weatherford, OK; one son, Zachariah Woods and Fiance', Sarah Dahlgren of Santa Clarita, CA; two daughters, Mikayla Gassman and husband, Gary of Okinawa, Japan, Jaime Fischer and husband, Chris of Weatherford, OK; one brother, Michael McMillon of Dumfries, VA; one sister, Kim McMillon and husband, Brian Sandlin of Weatherford, OK; two nephews, Christopher McMillon and Shawn McMillon and wife, Kyla; two nieces, Kelsey McMillon and April Tripp and husband, Joe and their children; and four grandchildren, Conner Gassman, Koren Matthews, and Ethan and Anna Fischer.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Teddy McMillon and grandparents, Ted and Bertha Freuschting.
