Donald Leslie
Reynolds
August 2, 1960 – March 12, 2026
Donald Leslie Reynolds, age 65, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Weatherford, Oklahoma, on March 12, 2026.
Don was born in 1960 in Norman, Oklahoma, the third child of Henry and Betty Reynolds. Though born in Norman, Don's heart belonged to Weatherford, where he lived the majority of his life. A graduate of Weatherford High School, Class of 1978, Don was a familiar and friendly face to the many who grew up alongside him.

Upon his return to Weatherford, he enrolled at Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU), where he earned his bachelor's degree in library science.
Don was a man of quiet intelligence and steady character with a lifelong love of reading. He shared this passion through his work as a librarian for the Navajo Nation reservation in New Mexico. Don's commitment to service continued through his 19 years in the Navy Reserves, during which he served in Desert Storm, retiring in 2001, He was also a Fourth-Degree member of the Knights of Columbus. For the past 15 years, he served as a corrections officer and was looking forward to his retirement in the fall from the Oklahoma Department of Corrections.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, Henry G. Reynolds, Jr. and Betty Reynolds, and his sister, Mary Camilla Lankford.
