Memorial services for Donald Louis King, 71 year-old Weatherford, Oklahoma resident, will be held Monday, January 14, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. in The Chapel of Lockstone Funeral Home with Rev. Lynn Brack and John Ludrick officiating.

Don was born January 24, 1941 in Weatherford, Oklahoma to Albert and Eulond (Sanders) King and passed away Thursday, January 10, 2013 in Corn Heritage of Weatherford. Don was raised and attended school in Weatherford and graduated from Weatherford High School in 1959. He earned his BBA from Oklahoma University in 1963; his MBA from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 1982 and his Masters in Education in 1992. He served his country in the Air National Guard. Don worked alongside with his parents in Kings Flowers and Gifts and later with his sister, Sandra. He was very involved with Kiwanis club and enjoyed volunteering in the community services. Memorials may be made to the Kiwanis District Foundation.

Don is survived by his sister, Sandra Ross and husband, Jerry of Weatherford, Oklahoma; nephew, Scott Ross and wife, Sara of Weatherford, Oklahoma; niece Ashley Ross and husband, Marc of Weatherford, Oklahoma; and two great-nephews; and one great-niece. He was preceded in death by his parents.
