Donald Wayne Dickey was born on October 5, 1954 to George and Francis (Hayworth) Dickey in Archer City, Texas and passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at his home in Geary, Oklahoma at the age of 66 years, 9 months, 28 days.

Donald was raised in Fort Collins, Colorado and enjoyed being on the ranch during his youth. After he completed his schooling, he started working on a ranch. He moved to Muncie, Indiana where he married Sonja Abernathy. In 1979 the family moved to Oklahoma where they made their home in Clinton and Weatherford. Don was a free spirit with a passion for horses, ranch life, and playing guitar. He enjoyed living life on the edge.

Donald is survived by one daughter, Tonya Dickey of Nashville, TN; one son, Derek Dickey of Muncie, IN; two step daughters, Mikey Yadon of AR and Rickie Bidwell of Weatherford, OK; three brothers, Steve Oldman of Walden, CO, Kenneth Dickey of Tulsa, OK, and Doug Bland of Wellington, CO; and three grandchildren, Logan, Levi and Lincoln. Donald is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sonja Dickey; and life partner, Pandy Seibold.
