Diana Jazmin Alvarez was born on August 23, 1989 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Fernando Gabaldon and Socorro Barron and passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2022 at her home in Weatherford, OK having reached the age of 33 years and 12 days.

Diana was raised as a youth in Chihuahua, Mexico and moved to Oklahoma City in 2007, where she began working at a laundry and cleaning service. After meeting Carlos Alvarez, she moved to Weatherford, Oklahoma in 2009 and they were married on July 18, 2014 in Oklahoma City. Together they made their home in Weatherford. In 2021 she began working as a custodian for Weatherford Public Schools. Diana was quick to make friends and loved hosting family and friends for parties and celebrations. She loved listening to music and dancing and was often the life of the party. She enjoyed staying active, working out, eating healthy, and was an avid dog person. At home, she often spent her time caring for home and her husband. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband, Carlos Alvarez of the home in Weatherford; mother, Socorro Barron of Delicas, Chihuahua, Mexico; father, Fernando Gabaldon of Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico; brother, Carlos Aviles of Clinton, OK; sister, Karina Aviles and husband Isidro Garcia of Weatherford; many nieces and nephews; and her dogs, Damaso and Charlie. Diana was preceded by her grandmother, Emma Montoya and grandfather Ricardo Barron; and one special dog, Boomer.

Diana se crió cuando era joven en Chihuahua, México y se mudó a la ciudad de Oklahoma en 2007, donde comenzó a trabajar en un servicio de lavandería y limpieza. Después de conocer a Carlos Alvarez, se mudó a Weatherford, Oklahoma en el 2009 y se casaron el 18 de julio del 2014 en la ciudad de Oklahoma. Juntos hicieron su hogar en Weatherford. En el 2021 comenzó a trabajar como conserje de las Escuelas Públicas de Weatherford. Diana se apresuró a hacer amigos y le encantaba recibir a familiares y amigos en fiestas y celebraciones. Le encantaba escuchar música y bailar y, a menudo, era el alma de la fiesta. Le gustaba mantenerse activa, hacer ejercicio, comer sano y era una ávida amante de los perros. En casa, a menudo pasaba su tiempo cuidando del hogar y de su esposo. Ella será realmente extrañada por todos los que la conocieron y la amaron.
