Denise Renee Vazquez was born January 12, 1966, in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, to Donnie and Mary Ann (Darnell) Chambers and passed away on Friday, July 24, 2026, in Oklahoma City, at the age of 60.

Denise was raised in Paoli and Guymon. She graduated from Guymon with the class of 1984. After high school, she moved to Liberal, Kansas. For many years, she raised her children - NaTasha, Christopher, Raul and Alex - and owned and ran her own daycare in Liberal.

Denise moved her family to Weatherford, Oklahoma in 2005, next door to her parents. She was very devoted to her children and all of their sports and activities. She worked in private home health as well as a Med Aide at Weatherwood. In 2023, she started spending a lot of time in Edmond, Oklahoma to be close to her sons and granddaughter, Ellie.

Denise loved her time with family, her dog, and talking to her dear friend of over 30 years, LaJunne Redman. Denise met LaJunne while living in Liberal and the two quickly became the best of friends. Even recently, they would talk on the phone for hours daily.

Denise is survived by daughter, Natasha Martinez; son, Raul Vazquez, his wife, Lauren; son, Alex Vazquez; grandchildren, Javier, Angelic, Cruz, Jamie and Raylee; Mariana and ChristaLe'; and Ellie and Claire; 1 great-grandchild and one on the way; and brother, Gary Chambers, his wife, Tammy, and their family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Christopher Martinez; and her brother, Stephen Chambers.

A graveside service for Denise will be held Friday, July 31, 2026, 10:00 A.M. at Greenwood Cemetery in Weatherford with David Lawrence officiating.
