Funeral service for Debra Ann Thomas, 54 year-old Weatherford, OK resident, will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 10:00 AM in The Chapel of Lockstone Funeral Home with Ken Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in Mound Valley Cemetery in Thomas under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Debra was born on September 9, 1960 in Stuttgart, Germany to Carl and Wilma (Eakins) Ferguson and passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Select Specialty Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. Debra was raised in numerous states because of her fathers military service, but the family settled north of Weatherford in 1970 where she attended Weatherford Public Schools. On February 6, 1981 she married Martin Dewayne Thomas in Weatherford and they made their home north of Weatherford. She worked as a cook for many years starting at SWOSU in 1975. She also cooked at various nursing homes and ended her career at Weatherford Regional Hospital. She enjoyed spending time with her sisters Helen and Kathy, babysitting her grandson, Logan, reading books, and cooking for her kids. Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or the American Heart Association.

Debra is survived by her husband, Dewayne Thomas of the home; one daughter, Cindy Bond of Weatherford, OK; one son, Dustin Thomas and wife, Nicole of Weatherford, OK; one brother-in-law, Rick Webster of Weatherford, OK; one brother, Carl David Ferguson Jr. and wife, Ione of Hinton, OK; one sister, Helen Seward and husband, Rick of Weatherford, OK; and one grandson Logan Bond; eight nephews, seven nieces, and thirty-six great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Kathy; twin siblings, Paul and Pauline; and a great-niece, Emmalee.
