Daryl was born on November 9, 1950, to Robert "Bob" Carl and Joyce Maxine (Stover) Heger in Weatherford and passed away Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Weatherford Regional Hospital having reached the age 70 years and 26 days.

Daryl was the grandson of the late Lawrence and Bertha Heger and Joel and Paulina Stover. Daryl graduated from Hydro High school in 1969 where he enjoyed playing baseball and basketball, he was also a very active FFA member. After high school he attended diesel mechanic school at Muskogee Career Tech for two years. In 1970, he married the love of his life, Becky Foster. Together they made their home in Hydro for 26 years and then moved to the family farm in 1996 remaining until the day he went to be with the Lord.

Daryl worked with his father farming and ranching until Bob was killed in a farming accident. At a very young age, Daryl was asked to keep the farming operation going and he continued this venture for the rest of his life, helping his mother along the way.

Daryl and Becky were blessed with 50 years of marriage, where they raised two daughters; Mindy Morton and husband Jeff of Hammon and Raquel Mings of Norman, five grandchildren; Abbey and Meghan Morton and Ryan, Kelsey, and Kyle Mings. The grandchildren were the apple of his eye and he enjoyed watching them play sports. He also enjoyed going on vacations with the family and making special memories that will last a lifetime. Daryl was also survived by a nephew; Jacob and wife Rita and their children; Jayson, Aiden, and Avery of Houston, Texas, and many cousins and friends.

Daryl was preceded in death by his parents; Bob and Joyce Heger, his brother; Jerry Heger, and one nephew; Eric Heger.
