Darrell Wayne Haas was born May 31, 1968, in Elk City, to Eldon Wayne and Sharlet Dale Haas and passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at his home in Thomas, at the age of 55 years, 7 months and 15 days.

Darrell was raised and attended school in Cordell, graduating from Cordell High School.  He worked in the oil field as a rig hand and most recently he worked as a yard hand for Western Oklahoma Metal Recycling.  Darrell enjoyed music, attending concerts, riding 4 wheelers in the Canadian River, spending his summers at Foss Lake and getting together with family and friends.

Darrell leaves behind his mother, Sharlett Turner of Nacona, Texas; and a very large group of family and friends.  He was preceded in death by his father, Eldon.
