Funeral service for Spencer Dolan, 59 year old Thomas, Oklahoma resident will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. in the Freedom Worship Center in Thomas, Oklahoma with Pastor Jerry Yoder and Rex Yoder officiating. Burial will follow in the Mound Valley Cemetery in Thomas, Oklahoma, under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home of Thomas.

Spencer was born to Vernon and Betty Dolan on June 6, 1957 in Corpus Christi, Texas and passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 in St Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Spencer was raised and attended school in Corpus Christi. Spencer moved to Thomas, Oklahoma his sophomore year and graduated Thomas High School with the Class of 1976. After high school Spencer became a welder working in oil and gas industry and later working in refrigeration systems where he traveled extensively. Spencer enjoyed watching Derek play football in high school, barbeques with family and friends, singing karaoke, and was an avid boxing fan. He enjoyed people and always had a hello and laugh for everyone. He loved his daily ride with Sophie (Dereks dog). Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.

He is survived by his son, Derek Dolan of Thomas, Oklahoma; one brother, Clifford Dolan of Poteau, Oklahoma; 3 sisters, Kathy Hales of Oklahoma City, OK, Tammy Dolan of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Tracy Eakins of Thomas, Oklahoma; and nieces and nephews, Casey, Barry, Brett, Bridgett, K.L. and Kaleb; a dear friend, Sandy Baldwin; and his mother in law, Ivadal Borror of Thomas, Oklahoma. He is preceded in death by his parents, Vernon Clifford Dolan, Sr. and Betty Jean (Spencer) Dolan.
