The family of Darla Michelle Stephenson, 54 year-old Weatherford, Oklahoma resident, will receive friends Saturday, July 29, 2017, 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. in The Chapel of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Darla was born January 1, 1963, in Winnemucca, Nevada to Robert Paul and Diane June (Correia) Stephenson and passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at Integris Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Darla died as she lived filling any room she occupied with her welcoming smile and quick-witted humor. Always putting family, friends and people first. Her most sincere joys came through simple pleasures. Reminiscing old stories at a family gathering for the holidays, chatting and cracking jokes with friends and, of course, spoinling her two grandchildren.

Darla is survived by her parents, Robert and Diane Stephenson of Bessie, Oklahoma; one son, Alonzo Salcido of Weatherford, Oklahoma; one daughter, Laura Tisdal and husband, Bo of Weatherford, Oklahoma; two brothers, Robert Stephenson, Jr. of California and Raymond Stephenson of Clinton, Oklahoma; one sister, Darcie Rhoads and Curtis Weatherly of Bessie, Oklahoma; and two grandchildren, Isabella and Landon. She was preceded in death by one sister, Doreen Marie Jones.
