Danny Eugene Lathrom was born November 30, 1942, to Alpha George and Ardeth (nee' Trumpeter) Lathrom at Ft. Leonard Wood Army Base in St. Robert, Missouri.  He went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at his home in Ft. Cobb, at the age of 79 years, 10 months and 29 days.

At the age of 17, Danny enlisted in the military, serving 17 years.  Danny heard the faith and was baptized by Brother Jerry Whittman into the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn.  He loved living the faith, teaching, preaching and baptizing along the way.  Danny was a meek and humble man; was the moral compass of the family.  He was the best example of a man of God.  Danny met Diane Sue Loflin at the Colorado Camp meetings and instantly fell in love.  They married in July 1978.  To this union came three children: Alpha, Genny and Aaron.  Danny and Diane had additional children: Andre', Thomas, JoEllen, Leon, Melodee, Machi, Dinahe, Mary, Preston, Stormy and Nathaniel.  Danny drove a truck for Swift Trucking for 14 years before retiring in 2006.  He had over 1 million miles of safe driving.

Danny is survived by his wife of 44 years, Diane Lathrom of their home in Ft. Cobb; children: Melodee, Machi, Dinahe, Mary, Preston, Stormy and Nathaniel of the home in Ft. Cobb, Alpha Lathrom and wife, Britney and their children, Aiden and Jersie of Burns Flat, Genny Haun and husband, Hal of Oklahoma City, Aaron Lathrom and wife, Breanna and their children, Ella, Emma and Atticus of Medicine Park; and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Alpha and Ardeth Lathrom; brother, Jeffery Lathrom; and sister, Janet Shaw.
