Dale Wayne Clear was born on May 14, 1950, on Mother's Day, in Okmulgee to Joe Dale and Neva Mae (King) Clear and died suddenly at his home in Hydro on April, 1, 2022 having reached the age of 71 years, 10 months and 17 days.
Dale graduated high school at Bixby in 1968. He entered the US Army on February 11, 1971. He served in Ft. Leonard Wood, MO, Fitzsmissons General Hospital in Denver, CO, Ft. Bliss, TX, Herminie, PA, Hontheim, Germany, then to Ft. Still, OK to be honorably discharged on December 12, 1973.
He married the love of his life on May 2, 1972 in Eakly and again on May 2, 1995 in Las Vegas, NV. They raised three loving sons, Brent, Jason and Adam.
Dale started his career in law enforcement in 1974 at Weatherford, OK for the Weatherford Police Department. He served as dispatcher for 1 day and then patrolman. He worked as patrolman for the Oklahoma Highway Patrol in Shattuck and Woodward, OK, then to Buffalo, OK as under Sheriff and retired as Safety officer in Caddo County.
Dale is survived by his wife, Margaret of the home in Hydro; three sons, Brent of Hydro, Jason and his wife, Samantha of Sayre and Adam of Hydro; grandchildren, Tyler, Rian, Zhaidyn, Breylan, Jackson, Stone, Draykin and Trystan; two brothers, Owen Clear and his wife, Lita and Gregg Clear and his wife, Mikka; and sister, Neva Jo (Clear) Taff and her husband, Dale; brothers-in-law, Glen Moore and his wife, Jan, James Moore and his wife, Shirley and Mike Moore and his wife, Martha; a very special aunt, Mary King of Tulsa, OK; step-mother, Carleen Clear; step-brother, Carl Stephenson; two step-sisters, Ann Vogt and Elizabeth Kleiwer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Neva Clear; sister, Sharon Clear Jewell; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Vernie and Oleta Moore; and sister-in-law, Frances Moore.
Dale was a loving and kind husband, father and grandpa. He was patriotic, tenderhearted, loved his Lord and all of his family He loved to tease and loved the Dallas Cowboys and OSU football and any football games he could watch. We will all miss him so much.
