Cynthia Lynne (Kelley) Buxton was born on December 11, 1961, the daughter of Don and Glenda Kelley and passed away into the loving arms of her Savior on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at the age of 62 years, 8 months, and 20 days.

Cindy graduated from Weatherford High School in 1980 and continued her education at Oklahoma University and Southwestern Oklahoma State University, graduating with a bachelor's degree in accounting. During her adult life, she worked for the Internal Revenue Service. After her retirement, Cindy enjoyed shopping, horseback riding, traveling, spending her days with her family, and rock and roll.

Cindy is survived by her mother, Glenda Kelley; her daughter, Holly Lodes; two grandchildren, Kellon Lodes and Zaida Lodes-Bagwell; two brothers, Paul Kelley and Patrick Kelley; two sisters, Julie Kelley and Tracy Henson; one sister-in-law, Katherine Hargus; one brother-in-law, Kevin Henson; and numerous nieces and nephews. Cindy was preceded in death by her son, Harrison Lodes; her dad, Don Kelley; and one brother, Michael Kelley.

In lieu of flowers, donation may be made, in Cindy's name, to the Connection Food and Resource Center in Weatherford.
