Funeral services for Curtis Gene Sharry, 61 years-old Eakly, Oklahoma resident, will be held Friday, February 21, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. in the Eakly Methodist Church with Kay Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Eakly Cemetery under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Curtis was born November 19, 1952 in Carnegie, Oklahoma to Orby and Lima (Jackson) Sharry and passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at Edmond Health Care Center in Edmond, Oklahoma. Curtis was raised and attended school in Eakly, Oklahoma where he graduated from Eakly High School in 1971. He accepted Jesus at an early age and is a member of the Eakly Methodist Church. On August 23, 1991, he married Shelia Rondell Nix in El Reno, Oklahoma and made their home in Eakly. Curtis farmed and lived in the Eakly area his entire life. He enjoyed water skiing, snow skiing, fishing, watching NASCAR races, trip to Las Vegas and spending time at the craps table, and most of all farming with his father. Memorials may be made to the Eakly Methodist Church or to the Eakly Community Center.

Curtis is survived by his mother, Lima Sharry of Eakly, Oklahoma; his wife of 22 years, Shelia Sharry of their home in Eakly, Oklahoma; four daughters, Talia Sharry of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Tatum Earle and husband, Christopher of Yukon, Oklahoma, Kristi Morrow of Lawton, Oklahoma, and Rebecca Moore of Corinth, Texas; one son, Monty M. Morrow and wife, Sarah of Tacoma, Washington; two brothers, Danny Sharry and wife, Linda and Larry Sharry all of Eakly, Oklahoma; three sisters, Margie Hamilton and husband, Butch of Anadarko, Oklahoma, Lorene Mills and husband, Larry of Gracemont, Oklahoma and Corene Osborn of Gracemont, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, Mason Moore, Matthew Morrow, Ethan Morrow, Aidan Hippchen, Isabella Morrow, Silas Earle and Baxter Earle; and mother-in-law, Elma Reta Nix; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Orby Sharry; father-in-law, Irvin Nix; and great-niece, McKyna Gracia.
