Memorial: 2:00 PM Saturday, April 2nd, 2016First United Methodist Church

Memorial services for Curtis Ray Kimble, 56 year-old Hydro, Oklahoma resident, will be held Saturday, April 2, 2016, 2:00 P.M. at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Ted Uhlig officiating. Services are under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Curt was born October 8, 1959, in San Manuel, Arizona to Leroy and Aline (Ball) Kimble and passed away Monday, March 28, 2016, at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Curt was raised and attended school in Hydro and graduated from Hydro High School in 1977. He was a machinist for 3-M for 13 years. He also served in the Oklahoma Army National Guard for 9 years. Curt later worked as a pumper in the oilfield and ended his career working for Chesapeake. On August 4, 2000, he married Katie Reinkens in Hydro and they made their home in Hydro. Curt enjoyed politics, bowling, being a Shriner clown, attending grandchildrens activities, and spending time with family and friends.

Curt is survived by his wife of 15 years, Katie Kimble of their home in Hydro, Oklahoma; one son, Kory Kimble and wife, Teri of Hydro, Oklahoma; one daughter, Kristin Lovelace and husband, Cory of Edmond, Oklahoma; one brother, Steve Kimble and wife, Kaz of Perth, Australia; one sister, Linda Kaddatz of Asheville, North Carolina; six grandchildren, Adam, Kade, and Zoie Kimble, Caleb, Adelynn, and Noah Lovelace; mother-in-law, Barb Reinkens of Athens, Tennessee; sister-in-law, Karen Bailey and husband, David of Athens, Tennessee; nieces, Kara Herman and Sarah Bailey; and nephews, Shannon Kimble and Jonathan Bailey. He was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law, William Reinkens.
