Funeral services for Clydene Wilma Wood, 82 year-old Weatherford, OK resident, will be held on Monday, September 8, 2014 at 3:00 PM in The Chapel of Lockstone Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Custer City Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Clydene was born on March 6, 1932 in Carter, Oklahoma to Melvin and Ruby (Brown) McLerran and passed away on Friday, September 5, 2014 at Deaconess Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was raised west of Dill City and attended Burns Flat public schools before graduating from Dill City High School with the Class of 1951. On December 2, 1950 she married Troy Wood in Henrietta, Texas and made their home in Texas, Washington, California, and Illinois where her husband was stationed. In 1984, they moved to Custer City where they lived until May of 2000 when they moved to Weatherford. She enjoyed crocheting and reading. Memorials may be made to Deaconess Hospital Critical Care Unit in Oklahoma City.

Clydene is survived by her husband Troy Wood, of the home in Weatherford; two sons, Ray Wood and his wife Jeanna of Flower Mound, Texas, Tony Wood and wife Julia of Shidell, Texas; one daughter, Jacqueline Neumayer of San Antonio, Texas; one brother, Jack McLerran of Burns Flat, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Jason Wood, Philadelphia LaTour, Christi Neumayer and Jessica Neumayer; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Scotty, Claude, Dan, and Joe; three sisters, Metsie, Oleta, and Sybil; and twin siblings in infancy.
