Clarence Eugene Harris was born July 7, 1955, in Weatherford, OK to Virgil Clarence and Mary Matilda (Lowry) Harris and passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2023, in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 67 years, 6 months, and 11 days.

Eugene was raised in Weatherford where he attended school until the 9 ^th grade. As a young man, Eugene began working for area farmers, helping out any way he could. On February 14, 1974, Eugene married Racinda Karlene Thomas in Weatherford and they soon started their family. Eugene was a CDL truck driver and worked for construction companies and in the oil field. He retired from work in 2007. Eugene enjoyed spending his time outside, whether he was mowing the grass, building something out of wood, or simply spending time with his family. He especially enjoyed playing with his grandchildren, and watching Andy Griffith and Gunsmoke reruns when he wasn't busy. He will be remembered by his family as an awesome father, husband, grandfather, and friend.

Eugene is survived by his wife, Racinda Harris of their home in Weatherford; four daughters, Cindy Rice and husband, Michael of Weatherford, Kristy Lewis and husband, Zach of Oklahoma City, Misty Harris and Anthony Sheets of Weatherford and Kelly Harris of Guthrie; five grandchildren, Kiernan Kinsman, and husband Devin, Abbagail Lingle, Annie Harris, Lacy Harris, and James Rice; two great-grandchildren, Douglas and Raven Sampson, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Douglas; one granddaughter, Lily; and six siblings.

A visitation will be held at Lockstone Funeral Home on Saturday, January 21 and Sunday, January 22 from 12:00 PM until 9:00 PM. The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Lockstone Funeral Home on Sunday, January 22, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM.
