Funeral: 2:00 PM Thursday, March 29th, 2012"The Chapel" at Lockstone Funeral Home

Funeral services for Clarence William Bud Endres, 81 year-old Custer City, Oklahoma resident, will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. in The Chapel of Lockstone Funeral Home with Rev. Debra Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home. Family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Bud was born November 30, 1930 in Thomas, Oklahoma to Leo and Audrey (Hoyt) Endres and passed away Sunday, March 25, 2012 at Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Bud was raised in the Custer City area and attended school at Swan Schools and graduated from Custer City High School in 1949. On July 29, 1951, he married Phyllis Beberniss in Custer City and made their home in Burkburnett, Texas. Bud served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. In 1967 they moved to Arizona and lived in Sierra Vista, Tombstone, and Tucson. In later years, Bud lived in additional cities in the state of Arizona until relocating to Clinton, Oklahoma in 2009. One of Buds greatest achievements was attaining the rank of Eagle Scout and the Order of the Arrow in the Boy Scouts of America. In adult years he enjoyed technical mechanics, hiking, swimming, and scuba diving. Bud donated thousands of volunteer hours to the St. Joseph Hospital in Tucson, Arizona and to Clinton Regional Hospital in Clinton, Oklahoma. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Custer City, Oklahoma.

Bud is survived by two daughters, Beverly Willis and husband, Richard of Lubbock, Texas and Janet Sehi and husband, Wesley of Custer City, Oklahoma; one brother-in-law, Gerald Matthews and wife, Ima Jean of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Kathleen McMurray and husband, Ed of Lubbock, Texas, Justin Sehi of Custer City, Oklahoma, and Kirk Sehi and wife, Ceciley of Hereford, Texas; five great-grandchildren, Kasey and Nathan McMurray, Bailey, Kolton, and Cylan Sehi; and nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; one brother and his wife, Bob and Betty Endres; and one sister, Evalyn Matthews.
